Handling Instructions:
- Always place your beeswax candle on a heat-resistant, non-flammable surface or holder.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from children, pets, and flammable objects.
- Use a candle snuffer or gently dip the wick into the wax to extinguish the flame without smoke. If blowing your candle out, take care not to splatter wax.
- If beeswax drips onto surfaces, allow it to cool and harden. Then, gently scrape it off with a plastic scraper being careful not to mar surface. Use warm, soapy water to remove any residue
Safe Burning Practices:
- Before EACH use, trim the wick to ¼ inch to prevent excessive smoke and ensure a clean, even burn.
- Allow the candle to burn long enough for the wax to melt across the entire surface. This helps prevent tunneling and extends the candle’s life.
- Burn your candle in a draft-free area to prevent uneven burning and flickering.
Storage Tips:
- Store your beeswax candles in a cool, dry area to prevent softening or warping.
- To avoid dust and debris buildup, store candles in cloth wraps or sealed containers.
- Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause color fading and surface blooming (a natural white film). If blooming occurs, simply buff the candle with a soft cloth
